Is my phone eSIM-compatible?
Most current smartphones support eSIM. What matters is that your device is not locked (no carrier SIM lock).
Quick test: dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID number is shown, your device supports eSIM.

What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM card built into your device. Instead of inserting a card, you simply install the data profile via QR code.
When do I get my QR code?
After successful payment we send the QR code with installation instructions to your email address – usually within a few minutes. Please also check your spam folder.
Can I install the eSIM before my trip?
Yes, we even recommend it. Validity usually only starts when the eSIM connects to a network at your destination. You need a stable internet connection for installation.
Can I still use calls and WhatsApp with my number?
Yes. Your regular SIM stays active. In your settings, select the eSIM for “Mobile data” and turn off data roaming on your main SIM to avoid roaming costs.
Can I share my data via hotspot?
Usually yes. Whether tethering is possible depends on the plan and destination. You'll find details in the plan description or in the email.
What happens when my data is used up?
The connection ends. You can book a new plan at any time and keep surfing.
Can I install the eSIM more than once?
No. A QR code can only be installed once. Keep it safe and don't delete the eSIM before the plan has expired.
